Fanad House Hotel - Kilkenny

Affable staff and wonderful location to the business park I was working at, everything was great. I've been here for 1 night, the breakfast was overall full cooked on the spot. Appreciated the room for the hot breakfast, my bed was very comfy. Location: the hotel was just next door to the castle and other historical attractions, all tourist attractions, and city center...

The rooms were new-fashioned with 3 beds a private bathroom, the staff were excellent. The location was particularly good and absolutely perfect, just a pleasant stroll away from Butter Slip Gift Shop.

Staff is helpful and you can park your car on-site. It has excellent restaurant and unbeatable location so close to everything you would like to see in Kilkenny.

We had such great 1 day here, would recommend. Hopefully the room was quiet and bright with a bath and very good shower. The accommodation had a very central location in the heart of town.

amazing access to kilkenny's highlights and charm

I loved staying here because everything in town was within a 10-minute walk, including the beautiful Butler Gallery and the fine St Mary's Cathedral. The owner was super friendly and prepared a lovely breakfast that fueled my adventures each day.

The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions, and we loved the local nightlife. The breakfast was fantastic, freshly made with plenty of options. The hosts were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. It wassuper clean and cozy, just right for a group trip!

The only downside was that the room could have been a bit warmer. It took a while for the heating to kick in, but it didn't ruin our overall experience.

This was an excellent choice for a good getaway. The accommodations were warm and cute with spacious rooms. The breakfast was a feast, with fresh ingredients and attentive service. With its prime location near the castle and a short jaunt to the town center, it's entirely convenient for exploration. Can't wait to return!

I had a wonderful stay with my family and really enjoyed the delicious breakfast options and the cozy garden area. The room was comfortable, although the beds could use an upgrade. I'd recommend asking for an upper floor room for better views 😊

Clean room with a great breakfast, with fresh eggs from the backyard. Shower had a confusing setup and could be improved.

The scrambled eggs at breakfast were some of the best I've ever had. Make sure to explore the River Nore walk nearby.
